Students Rebuild is an annual global challenge that donates money to important causes for every piece of art submitted by a young person. For the 2023 Extraordinary Earth Project, I guided the visual identity and branding to feel friendly, kind, and approachable for classrooms. The result was a visual system that relied on colors and textures that echoed construction paper commonly found in primary classrooms. We brought in playful hand-drawn and hand-cut elements to make the campaign a natural fit for students of all ages. Working with designers and illustrators, I guided the development of toolkits, posters, and social media assets that invited young people to learn about the environment and create art.

EXTRAORDINARY EARTH PROJECT CAMPAIGN
2024
I directed and executed a robust creator campaign promoting the challenge. I identified and contracted parents, librarians, and teachers to make videos showing themselves or their classes doing the project step-by-step with a call to action at the end. Creators spoke about the impact of the challenge and what it meant to their young participants to have their art make a tangible difference in the world.
